The 2018 Mercedes-AMG E43 4MATIC masterfully blends high-performance engineering with luxury, offering a compelling choice for those seeking both speed and sophistication. Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing 396 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 4.5 seconds.
One of our customers just bought a Mercedes E43 AMG finished in Magno Grey. Since this is a matte paint, we used System X MaxMF, a ceramic coating specifically designed for use with matte paint. It does not add gloss or shine to the finish.
STEP 1: WASH AND DECON

To get this Mercedes ready for ceramic coating, we did an exterior foam wash, clay bar treatment, and iron decon spray. This ensures that the paint is completely clean and free of contaminants before applying the ceramic coating to the paint. Normally, we would also do a shine enhancement polish to further prep the paint, however, we skipped this step because it would damage the matte finish of the paint on this vehicle.
STEP 2: REMOVE WATER SPOTS ON GLASS

This ceramic package also includes ceramic coating the wheels, glass, and exterior plastics in addition to the painted surfaces. When checking over the condition of these areas, we noticed a lot of hard water spots on the sunroof and rear glass. To remove these water spots, we used a dual-action polisher with Rupes coarse compound and a wool pad.
STEP 3: IPA WIPEDOWN

After polishing the glass, we used a ceramic coating prep spray from Gyeon to remove any compound and/or previous waxes and sealants applied to the vehicle.
STEP 4: CERAMIC COATING

This ceramic package also includes ceramic coating the wheels, glass, and exterior plastics in addition to the painted surfaces. When checking over the condition of these areas, we noticed a lot of hard water spots on the sunroof and rear glass. To remove these water spots, we used a dual-action polisher with Rupes coarse compound and a wool pad.
