The 2025 Tiffin GH1 redefines the adventure van experience, merging rugged off-road capabilities with luxury and innovation. Built on a Mercedes-Benz 2500 Sprinter AWD chassis and enhanced with Fox Shocks and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, the GH1 is engineered to tackle diverse terrains. Its thoughtfully designed interior features a power lift bed, wet bath, and kitchen.
One of our customers just bought a new Tiffin GH1 and immediately brought it to us to protect the paint with a ceramic coating.
STEP 1: WASH AND DECON

Proper prep is crucial when installing a ceramic coating. To get the paint ready to be coated, we did a hand wash, clay bar treatment, and iron decon spray.

Although this van is brand new, we still go through all of these steps to ensure any contamination from sitting at the dealership is removed.
STEP 2: SHINE-ENHANCEMENT POLISH

To further prep the paint, we do a shine enhancement polish to remove any remaining contamination and/or any preexisting waxes/sealants that could have been applied at the dealership.

Despite this van being brand new, we noticed there were already a lot of hard water spots on the glass. These were able to be removed with a machine polisher. Before applying the ceramic coating, we use a prep spray with isopropyl alcohol to remove leftover polish.
STEP 3: CERAMIC COATING

With the paint and glass fully prepped, we move on to coating the paint. With the massive size of this van, there was a lot of surface area to cover and some hard-to-reach areas like the roof and the painted area above the windshield. With the help of some ladders, we were able to get all of the painted surfaces coated in System X Max G+. We also applied Max G+ to the wheel faces, plus a 1-year ceramic coating to the glass and exterior plastics. By coating all of the exterior surfaces of the RV, it will be protected from UV and will be much easier to clean in the future.
