If you've never had your car detailed before or you have limited knowledge about mobile detailing/detailing in general, this post will help answer some of the most common questions that we get asked when booking clients. If you still have a question that isn't answered in this blog post, feel free to email us or fill out the contact form at the bottom of the home page on our website.
Will You Need Access to Power and Water?
We don't need access to power and water because we have a fully mobile setup with 30 gallons of water and a generator for power. This allows us to perform our services at houses, apartments, and office buildings. We've even done a detail at a golf course while the customer went golfing. As long we can find about three parking spots of empty space, we can perform a detail at that location.
How Often Should I Detail My Car?
The answer to this question will largely depend on your lifestyle and how often the vehicle is parked outside. In general, we recommend about 2-3 times per year to keep your paint protected and your interior looking decent. This will obviously depend on how often you use the car, if you have messy kids or pets, and if you park the car outside or in a garage. If the vehicle is parked outside all the time, you would want to wax the vehicle at least three times a year because of how much sun we get in Colorado.
How Do I Know When My Paint Needs to be Protected?
As we just mentioned, the protecting your car from the sun in Colorado can be one of the biggest challenges in keeping your vehicle's paint in good condition. If you aren't sure if your paint needs protection, the best way to tell is by seeing how water interacts with the surface of your vehicle. If the water beads off the car immediately, it means that your paint has proper protection from the outside elements. If however, the water sheets on the surface, this is an indicator that there is little to no protection on the paint and it is in need of a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating.
Is Mobile Car Detailing Worth It?
While we may be a little biased in the response to this question, we would say it is absolutely worth it to have your car mobile detailed. Not only does it protect the condition and resale value of your vehicle, but is also super convenient and oftentimes cheaper than going to a detail shop. If you are interested in hearing more about the benefits of professional mobile detailing services, we wrote a separate blog post on this topic a couple of weeks ago.
How Do You Collect Payment?
Unlike a lot of mobile services, at Eminent Auto Detailing, we try to make it as easy as possible for our customers to pay by accepting payments in cash, card, Venmo, or Zelle. Whatever form of payment is easiest for you is fine with us.
How do I Book an Appointment?
If you are in the Arvada area and you're interested in booking a high-quality detail for your vehicle, you can easily book an appointment on our website. We also have a lot more information there about our pricing and the different packages we offer. If you are wanting to take on the job yourself, check out the shop page on our website to see all the products and tools that we have used to professionally clean hundreds of vehicles.
